Launch of SAFAR Mega Emission Inventory Campaign For DELHI-2018
Dr. M. Rajeevan, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India and the Chairman, Earth System Science Organisation, flagged off the SAFAR mega emission inventory campaign for Delhi on 12th April 2018.
It will last for about 2 months, where more than 100 graduate and post graduate students will be participating and collecting the primary and secondary data from as many as 26 different major and minor source sectors which contributes to Delhi air pollution. This will make the skill of SAFAR air quality forecast better as now the gridded emissions will be available at 400 m x 400 m resolution.
